ppg paints arena

Project Description: The CONSOL Energy Center, now known as PPG Paints Arena, is a multi-purpose venue located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The construction of the arena began in 2008 and was completed in 2010, at a cost of approximately $321 million. This modern facility replaced the older Civic Arena (also known as the Mellon Arena) and was designed with a more contemporary aesthetic, focusing on accessibility, technology, and fan experience. The design features a distinctive, sleek exterior made of glass and steel, emphasizing transparency and creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors. Our scope of work on the project included approx. 55,000 square feet of glazed curtainwall and aluminum entrances.
